Joshua Tree National Park - Artist in Residence Day 26
Paintings with Students
My last day in the park has been spent cleaning and packing. I will share here the final product of my outreach program for this residency, a set of three collaborative paintings I did with local 5th and 6th graders. These depict: Sunrise at Cholla Catus Garden, Midday at Lost Horse Valley, and Sunset at Quail Springs. It was a pleasure to spend time with these kids, getting to know them a little, working together, and creating something for their school to keep and enjoy.
Next I made my way towards home, but first a night in Death Valley, and some time in southwest Idaho to do some work as Artist in Residence for the Idaho Conservation League.
